My uncle Phil, I know you’ve lived life to the fullest and with no regrets. I live life now with a regret of not being able to meet you before you go. It has been a great friendship while it lasted. You will be etched in my memory til the day I die because then, i wouldn’t need the memories anymore. I will be sharing a place with you in the bosom of our dear Father God, the Lord Jesus Christ. May you rest in peace. Love you lots uncle Phil!! Hugs and kisses…..

Your poems are great. I enjoy it when you update your blog as it is an insight to an individual’s wisdom.
Perhaps, you can elevate the devotional quality of your work. Do check out Gerard Manley Hopkins and his work… Christian poetry from the Victorian era at is finest.
Your poem, on another note, just reminds me to cherish my parents and my grandparents more. God is unpredictable and He calls when He wants to, in His time. And in His time, He can call very soon.
