Happy 60th!

Dearest uncle, Beloved brother,
Wonderful husband and father,
We are gathered here to celebrate,
None other than you and your age! (haha….)

As a husband, you are loving and kind,
Your passion in marriage only grew with time,
Holding strong to the bond of holy matrimony,
Bringing a blissful union into eternity.

As a father, you are stern yet understanding,
You reprimand at every wrong doings,
But you are also very forgiving towards all mistakes,
For this we say, "Daddy you’re great!!"

As a brother, the eldest no less,
You held a responsibility that puts your patience to the test,
No matter how we drive you up the wall,
You were always there to catch us when we fall.

As an uncle, you treated us like your own children,
Pampering us with gifts of toys and wisdom,
Checking on us when we were younger,
Checking on us still now, even when we are older.

No matter how you are related to anyone,
Always remember that you are one of God’s sons,
May you continue to be blessed in His Love,
Enjoy all that He brings you this sixtieth!!

When got nothing to do, ma blog lor…. hehehe…. been a great week this week with exercise and work and family. Couldn’t have experienced it better myself. Maybe things could be better (like lesser forumming. haha!) but i wouldn’t change a thing of this week.

Just miss my blogging days. Wish i had that much a time as before. Work is hectic but not stressful. Thank and praise the Lord for this. Exercise is going fine. Thank and praise the Lord for this. Family is all well. Thank and praise the Lord for this. Friends are great. (If you are not, call on me ya! I think it’s time i return your favors. Even if you think you owe me big time, please still come to me. You know you can depend on me! =D) Thank and praise the Lord for this. Foes couldn’t be better. Thank and praise the Lord for this - that they may learn to love Him as He loves them. Praying for all of you. Life is basically going as planned. Thank and praise the Lord for this. It’s definitely not an easy and smooth ride but it sure is moving! ;)

Umm…. i wouldn’t say that i’m overjoyed (’coz i’d be crazy to be overjoyed over nothing!) but i’m definitely not sad (’coz i’d be crazy to be sad over nothing!!). I’m really just yapping along here….. don’t have anything in particular to say. Been planning to write a poem. Just don’t have the time to get to it. One fine day…. =)

Just wanna shout out some love to my sister and parents (though they don’t check out my blog), my cousins, aunts and uncles, my S’wan(ACS to be precise) friends (old and new - from the forum), my Samad friends (miss you all!!), my UM friends (where on earth are you guys???), my church friends (we must have a gathering soon!), my oversea friends (you’re always on my mind! remember that!!), my library friends (you 4 guys better organize a WC session at Tanjung just like the good ol’ days soon ya!!), my sister’s Seafield and INTI friends (miss jie-jie anot???) and my friends i made along the way while i was in S’wan, PJ, KL!!! Self-improvement DAY =Þ

After losing my ‘laughing gas’, I got down on to some serious thinking and analyzing of my self. Here are some of the must do’s and don’ts for me to prepare myself for the next time around (IF it comes):

  1. Must not be so full of myself although it’s just in words and not in person, it can really get on people’s nerves
  2. Must not be so blur of my surroundings (the world and people’s feelings): i.e. be more sensitive and read/listen to the news!!
  3. Must not eat too much fried stuffs (ha-ha!)
  4. Must not laugh too much and too loud. It’s very annoying, uncultured and un-ladylike. (Sob sob…. Oh, it’s just as well since I lost my laughing gas anyway!)
  5. Must exercise!! For a healthier living and gorgeous body. (Every guy dreams of having a trophy wife. So, if you’re capable in giving him that, why not? Everyone can live with more bonuses in life anyway! =D)
  6. Must love dogs (no intention of copyrighting the movie title). Well, at least not be afraid to touch them. Of course, provided the guy MUST LOVE HORSES too! =D
  7. Must be the Woman I’m made to be and need to be and not the Man I want to be.
  8. Must practice the patience and understanding that I so claim to have towards my love ones.
  9. Must learn to give unconditionally even though it will break your heart at the end because if you trust and have faith in Him, whatever you give is not really out of you but of Him. In order to know if you are on the right path of giving, read the last MUST DO.

Last but definitely not in the very least but in fact, must be in the above all, top foremost,

  1. Pray crazily to Jesus to keep you sane when your other half is driving you insane, to bring out your love when your other half is pressing it down, to keep you going on without regrets no matter what your other half did or is doing to you and to bring your other half together closer to Him who has brought both of you together for a reason. So, discover THE reason, together!
  2. Actually, that can’t be my last must do. My last must do is, DO all the above! Ha-ha…. I actually listed more but I left my list in the office and I’m not sure when I’ll be able to update my blog in the near future so I thought I’d better just post this up sooner than…. NEVER! And also, I would all of you to add-on (which I hope to do myself IF I can find the time!) to or comment on my list to help me through this. Please give me some feedback. Hate to repeat these same mistakes again later in life. Every change and evolution takes time and some varies from a shorter to a longer time. So, the sooner I get to it the sooner I’ll make the people’s lives around me less miserable.

Thanks peeps!!

Love lots…..
